Projects & Independent Operations

Direct project experience reinforces the need for clear priorities, realistic budgets, maintainable systems, and tools that reduce rather than create work.

Curiosity & Independence

Learn the system. Understand how it works.

Rick’s technology background began through hands-on learning: building, experimenting, troubleshooting, and learning how websites and digital systems fit together.

That approach developed a habit of looking beneath the surface of a problem before choosing a solution.

Strategy & Audience

Build for people, not just platforms.

Practical web experience expanded into audience development, communication, search visibility, analytics, and understanding how people interact with digital information.

Graduate work in digital marketing added formal strategy and measurement to that hands-on experience.

Research & Context

Add structure, evidence, and careful reasoning.

Legal Studies added stronger research, documentation, analytical reasoning, and attention to risks, responsibilities, and long-term consequences.

The goal is not to provide legal services, but to bring disciplined research and critical thinking into technology and business decisions.

Connected Experience

Bring the disciplines together. Build what actually helps.

Today, Rick’s work combines web development, digital marketing, strategy, research, content, and operational thinking.

That combination is most useful when several parts of a business problem overlap and need to be understood together rather than treated as isolated tasks.
