Who builds it?
Low-cost platforms usually provide the software. Professional design, migration, copy, structure, and setup may still be your responsibility.
Website Design • Migration • Modernization
Gotham Bush publishes website pricing up front because a smaller advertised number does not always mean a lower real cost. We build the site, establish the SEO foundation, give you a simple way to manage the business information that actually changes, and keep long-term costs straightforward.
CLEAR FROM THE START
From $1,295
First-year Website Care is included. After that, our current Website Care price is $249 per year. One standard domain registration or renewal is included with active Website Care.
The Whole Website Relationship
Many website platforms make it inexpensive to begin because they are selling access to a builder. The business owner still has to build the website, write or organize the content, configure the pages, understand the SEO tools, maintain the site, and decide what to do when the business outgrows the original setup.
Other services start with an attractive design fee and then rely on recurring hosting, marketing, SEO, add-ons, apps, premium features, or future design work. None of those models are automatically bad—but the initial number alone can make very different products look comparable when they are not.
Gotham Bush takes a different approach: price the professional project clearly, include the pieces a typical small business actually needs to launch properly, keep recurring care modest, and preserve the customer's ability to move the website elsewhere if another solution becomes better later.
Before You Compare Prices
A DIY builder and a professionally designed website are different purchases. The software may be inexpensive, but someone still has to plan, build, maintain, troubleshoot, optimize, and keep the site current. For many owners, the bigger cost is time pulled away from running the business. Gotham Bush handles that technical burden so the website becomes a business tool instead of another job on your list.
Low-cost platforms usually provide the software. Professional design, migration, copy, structure, and setup may still be your responsibility.
Hosting, builder plans, domains, email, apps, ecommerce features, scheduling, and marketing tools can all renew on different schedules.
Having SEO controls is not the same as a professional SEO setup, and an initial setup is not the same as an ongoing SEO campaign.
Your domain and business content should remain useful if you change providers. Some builders require substantial rebuilding when you move.

Understand
We review what you have, what it costs, what is working, what is getting in the way, and what the website actually needs to accomplish.
Review the existing website, platform, domain, content, forms, search visibility, analytics, and recurring costs.
Identify the customers, services, locations, actions, and information the new website needs to support.
Identify what belongs to the customer, what must be migrated, and how to avoid replacing one unnecessary lock-in with another.

Design & Build
We handle the professional build while keeping day-to-day business updates simple for the customer.
Purpose-built page structure, mobile behavior, calls to action, forms, visual presentation, and conversion paths.
Edit approved business information such as hours, services, staff, pricing, photos, FAQs, and announcements without touching code.
Organize headings, page topics, service information, geographic relevance, metadata, and internal links around people and search engines.

Launch & Protect
A redesign is not an excuse to casually throw away URLs, search history, analytics, content, or customer access.
Move approved content and preserve important URLs and redirects where practical so a redesign does not unnecessarily reset search visibility.
Initial technical and local-search setup, page metadata, crawlability, indexing support, structured content, and search-oriented page organization.
Review responsive behavior, forms, links, major pages, analytics, and deployment before the production switch.

Own & Grow
After launch, customers can handle ordinary business updates through the Gotham Bush website CMS while larger changes remain available as clearly scoped professional work.
Straightforward Website Pricing
These packages are designed for common small-business website projects. If your project genuinely falls outside the package, we tell you before paid work begins.
Launch
For a business that needs a professional web presence without migrating a complicated existing site.
Modernize
For an existing business site that needs a stronger design, cleaner structure, better performance, and a modern foundation.
Platform Escape
For businesses that want to leave a restrictive or expensive builder/hosting setup without simply recreating the same problem somewhere else.
After Year One
Website Care is not an unlimited design retainer. It covers the ongoing technical care layer: CMS availability, hosting/deployment management, routine platform maintenance, backups/recovery, compatibility/security upkeep, keeping the existing website operational, and one standard domain registration or renewal.
Domain policy: your domain remains customer-controlled, and one standard domain registration or renewal is included while Website Care is active. Premium domains, unusually expensive TLDs, aftermarket purchases, brokerage, and specialty domain costs are quoted separately before purchase. Third-party services that you choose—such as paid booking, ecommerce, premium email, or specialized integrations—are disclosed separately when they are genuinely required.
5-Year Website Reality Check
DIY platforms can be genuinely cheaper if you are comfortable building and managing the site yourself. The comparison below shows why that is different from purchasing a professionally built website.

Prices checked August 17, 2026. Competitor pricing, promotions, renewals, taxes, and plan features can change. Five-year estimates use currently advertised annual/promotion pricing where a defensible calculation is possible. Variable competitor domain renewals are shown separately rather than guessed. Gotham Bush totals include one standard domain while Website Care is active.
* Assumes the currently advertised plan rate continues for the calculation period. DIY totals do not include the value of the owner's labor or the cost of hiring a designer, developer, copywriter, SEO professional, or migration specialist.
“SEO tools” means the platform provides controls, audits, or settings. It does not mean a professional has performed the SEO work. Gotham Bush package SEO refers to an initial professional technical/local foundation, not an ongoing monthly SEO campaign.
No Artificial Lock-In
Gotham Bush websites are intentionally designed for practical portability. You retain control of your domain, business content, and approved assets. If your needs change, we provide a reasonable export/handoff path rather than deliberately making the website impossible to move.
If you want Gotham Bush to perform a complete migration to another provider—configure the new environment, replace integrations, move DNS, test everything, and launch it—that is professional labor and can be quoted separately. The ability to leave is not something we charge you to unlock.
Clear Scope. Clear Payments.
We do not build custom websites or extensive speculative mockups for free. A real project begins after scope, agreement, and initial payment are established.
Select a package, answer the project questions, and see the working estimate before submitting.
We confirm what is included, identify unusual requirements, and put the project scope and payment terms in writing.
Custom design/build work starts after the agreement and project deposit. Paid discovery can be used when substantial concept work is needed first.
You review the working site privately, provide included revision feedback, and see the project before production launch.
For the standard structure, 25% is due at the agreed build milestone.
The remaining balance is completed before production launch/final handoff, then we put the finished website to work.
When the Project Needs More
These are starting prices for common additions. If scope materially changes the work, we confirm the price before adding it.
Build Your Website Estimate
Configure the project first. The estimate updates on the page. When it looks right, send the project details to Gotham Bush. We confirm final scope before any paid work begins.
Still Comparing?
Review the packages, compare the five-year picture, and configure the project when you're ready. If Gotham Bush isn't the right fit, we'd rather you know that before either side wastes time.
